Hello Alumni!
I am happy to share the TCPA Board recently hosted a cocktail reception to welcome this year’s senior team members and our newest alumni. We were able to see firsthand the positive impact from being part of Texas Cheer, Pom, and Hook ‘Em.
These talented seniors are going on to start amazing new careers, many heading to law, nursing, and business schools, and even to the military. Our seniors are excited to be part of TCPA and anxious to get involved. They will immediately benefit from staying connected with the program, having full access to alumni news and events.
Meeting our newest alumni was a great reminder of why this organization is so special. TCPA remains an exclusive and intimate group, with just under 1000 total members having shared the unique experience of cheering for The University of Texas. These new alumni will be the future supporters, advocates and leaders of the spirit program. They will also help carry on the tradition and legacy established by all of you. Thank you for laying the groundwork for this new group!

Hello Alumni!
It is amazing to see the momentum of our Texas Cheer and Pom Alumni Network. Thank you to everyone that has reached out to get involved. We now have a very active alumni relations committee, a new communications committee, and of course, our expanded events committee is planning the best reunion yet! Having engaged and supportive alumni will ensure the success of TCPA.
I am also excited to share an update on The Fringe, the new dedicated space for Texas Cheer and Pom. In addition to traditional practice space, the program will now have an Academic Center and a Lounge/Nutrition Center. Demolition has started on the third floor space in Belmont. Construction will begin in full force once classes finish in May, proceeding through the summer. Completion is scheduled for this August. We can’t wait to share this new space with you!
