Hello Cheer and Pom Alumni!

 

The Spring semester is off to a great start with our annual Extravaganza alumni watch party and the Grand Opening of “The Fringe” practice facility. I also recently attended the Texas vs. Georgia men’s basketball game. Throughout the game I couldn’t help but notice how energized and engaged the entire program was in making Moody come alive. Beyond being blown away at the level of talent in the program- Cheer, Pom, and Hook ‘em were working together on time-outs, crowd involvement, and creating energy for the players. In addition, it was clear they were all having FUN, and loving the experience being part of Texas Spirit. It was a proud alumni moment and a reminder that our TCPA efforts make a direct impact on the experience of these student-athletes.

 

TCPA works hard to bring our alumni together and honor the traditions of the program. However, our support for the current program will serve to strengthen the legacy of Texas Cheer, Texas Pom, and Hook ‘em. If you find yourself on campus or near the stadium, take a minute to come say hello and visit The Fringe. Alumni are forever part of the Texas Spirit Family.
