The Texas Cheer and Pom Alumni mentorship program began in February 2025 with an initial 69 current members and 30 alumni of the Texas Spirit Program.

 

Current students were hand-matched with alumni based on their major and area of interest. Although this is a new program, it's already off to a great start! Mentors have been providing valuable feedback and helping students make introductions with other alumni in their field. Alumni have given feedback and coaching to their mentors on interview questions, facilitated introductions beyond the initial alumni connection, and supported extended networking in the current students' areas of interest.
