Welcome to the official Texas Cheer and Pom Alumni Network, organized through the University of Texas Ex-Student’s Association. Did you cheer or dance for Texas? Do you still bleed orange? Do your best college memories involve white fringe? If so, you are forever part of the Texas Spirit family.

A single group across ALL decades and ALL teams to support the future of the Texas Spirit Program.

The new Cheer and Pom Alumni Network was created with three main goals:

  • Preserve the traditions and legacy of cheer and pom by engaging and celebrating our alumni.

  • Support current team members and coaching staff with additional resources and scholarships.

  • Create the top spirit program in the country!

Program Endowment

Goal: $5,000,000

The Program Endowment is critical to the future of Texas Cheer and Pom. The generosity of our Cheer and Pom Alumni will ensure a lasting legacy. The funds raised are used to benefit every member of the program through meals, equipment, updated practice facilities, additional travel resources, and coaching assistance. The general Program Endowment will also provide additional support positions such as a dedicated trainer and nutritionist.

Scholarship Endowment

 Goal: $2,000,000

The current goal of the Texas Cheer and Pom Alumni Endowment is to provide a $1000 scholarship to every eligible member in the Texas Spirit Program. Scholarships will be awarded each Fall to Co-Ed, All-Girl and Pom members based on funds available from the endowment.

2024-2025

The 2024-2025 Spirit Program includes 95 student athletes across our cheer, pom and mascot teams. Over the last decade, the scale of the program has expanded to meet the growing demands placed on the spirit program. Beyond practice and cheering games, the team also makes appearances at university, alumni and community events. Just this past year, Texas Cheer, Pom, and Hook ‘Em participated in over 200 events.
